MT. JULIET, TN (WSMV) - Authorities are investigating a man's death after his body was found in a wooded area in Mt. Juliet Monday evening.

Police say a resident went to find the cause of a foul odor near their home and found the decomposing body in the 1000 block of Secretariat Drive. 

The body has not yet been identified, but is described as a thin white male in their late teen to early 20s. According to investigators, foul play was likely not involved. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
