HENDERSONVILLE CITY MAP

HENDERSONVILLE, TN (WSMV) - A female victim who went missing while paddling near the Old Hickory Dam has been found alive, according to officials with Sumner County.

According to the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency, the victim went paddling near dark. It is unclear at this time how old she is.

The victim's friends called 911 when it got dark and the victim still had not returned.

Officials spent much of the evening on the water searching for the victim. Details about the victim's finding and recovery were not immediately given to News4.
