Metro police searching for Bellevue bank robber

Metro police are searching for the man accused of robbing a Bellevue bank on Thursday morning.

It happened at the Bank of American branch at 7043 Highway 70 South at 10:40 a.m.

Police said the suspect handed over a robbery demand note and the teller complied. He then got away on foot before eventually getting into a getaway vehicle.

Police believe the same man robbed two other banks last month.

The suspect appears to be in his late 20s or early 30s. He is approximately 6’2” tall with a thin build. He has brown hair, a mustache and goatee. He was wearing a green knit cap, green long-sleeved shirt and glasses.
