A man involved in an exchange of gunfire in the parking lot of a public housing development last summer has been indicted on a charge of first-degree murder.

Metro Police said Treshon Patton, 23, surrendered late Thursday night after the indictment in connection with the death of Anthony London on July 22, 2017.

Police said Patton and London, 23, exchanged gunfire in a parking lot on South Sixth Street that day. London was shot in the head and died. Patton was shot in the stomach.

Police determined that the gunfire resulted from an on-going dispute between Patton and London.
