Larry has spent several years working in front of or behind the camera at Channel 4. He joined the team in 2001 and covers Murfreesboro and surrounding communities in Rutherford County as reporter/photographer.

Larry began his career in 1990 in Tyler, Texas. He served as a reporter/photojournalist and weekend assignment editor with KLTV-7 (ABC) East Texas News.

Two years later, he decided to go back to his home state of Mississippi. For nine years, he pulled triple duty as reporter/photojournalist and weekend assignment editor with WLBT-TV3 (NBC). While at WLBT, Larry won numerous awards, including Mississippi's Best Photographer from the Associated Press, as well as a regional award for his Crime Stoppers reporting in the southeast.

Larry also had the opportunity to travel and do stories in Madrid, Spain, Paris, France and Honduras in Central America. Larry is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi. He attended Southern Miss the same years as former Green Bay Packers quarterback, Brett Favre. He also attended Tougaloo College and Jackson State University, where he was a volunteer instructor for an ENG Class.

Larry is a Tennessee Titans fan and is proud to have covered Titans quarterback, Steve McNair, while he was in college at Alcorn State University.

Larry loves spending time with his wife, Laureen, and his three children, Lareko, Lauren and Landra. They are members of the Lake Providence Baptist Church in Nashville.

Larry is also a proud member of the Brentwood Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. "The Rock."
