As back-to-school season approaches, it's time to make sure your child has their vaccinations.

Students at all Metro Nashville Public Schools must have proof of their required immunizations to attend class.

The Metro Public Health Department is offering walk-in appointments for immunizations Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the following locations: East Health Center, 1015 East Trinity Lane Lentz Health Center, 2500 Charlotte Ave. Woodbine Health Center, 224 Oriel AvenueStudents entering the seventh grade must provide a proof of immunization certificate showing the following immunizations: Tetanus Diphtheria Pertussis booster (Tdap) Varicella booster or proof of having had the chicken pox diseaseAfter-hours shot clinics will be offered at the following locations and dates:
