SPRING HILL, TN (WSMV) - Taylor Parker said he was taking a shower when his home started to shake.

“It felt like you were in an earthquake,” he said. He ran outside in a towel to confront the construction worker who had just plowed through the front of his home with a bulldozer.

Police said the driver was excavating at a property across the street Wednesday morning. Around 10:40, he drove the bulldozer across the cul-de-sac, tore through Parker’s landscaping, and took a chunk out of the front of his garage. That evening, they still didn’t know what made him leave the site and destroy the neighbors’ property.

“His first thing was, ‘I didn’t hit your house,’” Parker recalled his conversation with the driver. “That’s when I knew he was delusional, because obviously he’s staring at a hole in my house.”

Police took the worker’s blood at the scene. Parker said he plans to press charges.

“He just didn't know what was going on. He didn't say sorry, he didn't know what he did,” he said. “It's like you're in a dream. I still can't believe it even happened. I mean, who shows up to your house and just starts running through your house with a bulldozer.”
