Method of Preparation

Place all the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl.

Whip eggs, buttermilk and melted butter.

Slowly add the liquid to the dry ingredients mixing thoroughly.

Add the pureed black eyed peas mix thoroughly to incorporate.

Scoop a tablespoon of the batter into 350 degree oil fry 4 -5 minutes until golden brown.

Place onto paper lined tray and serve .
