The owner of a beloved women's boutique said over the years her city has helped her realize her dreams.

Now she's talking about the humbling way that community's helping her in the battle for her life.

Hangers moving across the racks; that's the sound Heather Sullivan loves to hear.

"I love clothes," she laughed. "It's been a labor of love."

Her Clementine's Women's Boutique has been a dream project, a place with polka dots, patterns and a personal touch, tops carrying inspirational messages and scripture.

"If a little Jesus rubs off on ya when you're in here, that's OK!" said Sullivan. "I hope it's been a good outreach and ministry to the community."

Today her ministry has new importance.

Sullivan's family has been right there for her during a past battle with breast cancer. This year, cancer came back in her liver. She said doctors have given her six months.

"He's asking questions," said Sullivan, referring to her five-year-old son. "Why is mama still sick? Why can't you play with me as much? It just breaks my heart."

Sullivan said she has to close Clementine's.

"It's just too much for me," she said. "I have enough on my plate. I need to fight for my life right now."

With everything on sale for this final month, the crowds are here for Sullivan. In addition to sales, donations are being taken, while the nearby Sister's Whimzy Clothing and Gift Boutique is also selling inventory items to raise money for the family.

"It's surprising. It's humbling so many people would notice and wanna help," said Sullivan. "It breaks my heart to leave my five-year-old and my husband. God can do anything. He's either going to heal me in a miracle in this world or he'll heal me when I get home in heaven. If this can inspire somebody else to fight, he will take care of you. I don't want anyone who goes through this to be too afraid to fight it."

Clementine's Women's Boutique is located at 11229 Lebanon Rd. Sullivan said the plan is to continue the sale for the rest of the month, and inventory is going fast.
