The Medical Examiner’s office determined that a gunshot wound killed Giden who was also struck by a three-wheel motorcycle on Murfreesboro Pike near E. Thompson Lane.
After initial reports from police that a suspect was in custody, Wilkerson said no one has been arrested and the search for others who may be involved continues.
“From all appearances, this is a targeted shooting,” Metro Police spokesman Don Aaron said. “They were stopped at the red light, two persons got out of the car and opened fire.”
