1 killed, 1 injured in shooting outside Nashville bar
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Metro Police are investigating a shooting outside a Dickerson Pike bar on Saturday night that left one person dead and another person injured.
Police said Chancellor Eddins, 35, was fatally shot outside Trvth Lounge, 2919 Dickerson Pike, at 10:30 p.m. A second man who was with Eddins inside the bar was also shot. The second man said he and Eddins had an argument with the suspect inside the bar. Shots were fired as they left the lounge.
Officers found Eddins lying on the ground just outside the door to the bar. He died at the scene. The second victim was taken to Skyline Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Anyone with information about Eddins’ murder is asked to call Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
