Franklin Police: Drug Traffickers Arrested

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- Franklin police said they've broken up an elaborate drug-trafficking operation.

Investigators said cocaine was being driven from Mexico and Dallas to Tennessee for distribution in Nashville and Knoxville.

Officers arrested Heriberto Ayala, Luz Rodriguez and Laura Reyes in connection with the raid.

According to court records, Ayala and Rodriguez would take two cars and one would act as a lookout for police, and the other would transport the drugs.

Police said Reyes was in charge of wiring large sums of money to a supplier in Mexico.
