Campaign Asks For Furniture, Household Item Donations

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Greenhouse Ministries is opening a donation center on Friday to help victims of the April 10 Murfreesboro tornado.The center will be located inside the old Goody's store at Stones River Mall. They are looking for people to donate furniture, such as couches and kitchen tables.Greenhouse Ministries said they need household items such as can openers, dishes, measuring cups and silverware.The store will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. They also need volunteers to help in the campaign.The warehouse will not accept toys, clothes or miscellaneous items. To schedule a donation drop-off or to volunteer at the tornado warehouse, contact Greenhouse Ministries at 494-0499.
