Police: Woman Lied About Rape

HARTSVILLE, Tenn. -- A Trousdale County woman has been arrested after police said she lied about being raped.

Lori Shrum is charged with making a false report.

On May 1, Shrum told police she was forced into a car at knife point, driven to a secluded area and raped.

Sheriff's deputies locked down a school afterward and called people personally to let them know of the danger.

However, police said the entire incident was a hoax.
