TDOT Works To Repair Bridge At Exit 70

Drivers will want to avoid a stretch of Interstate 24 in Rutherford County this weekend.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation is repairing a bridge at exit 70, the Almaville Road exit, in Smyrna.

Only one eastbound lane will be open during the construction.

The work begins at 8 p.m. Friday and is schedule to be finished by Monday morning.
