MTA Announces New Bus Schedule

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- MTA bus riders will see some service changes beginning in September.Among them are more frequent trips to Opry Mills, hourly airport service and improved night service.There will also be changes to several routes including the busy West End and Charlotte Pike services.The changes take effect Sept. 30.
Listed below is information regarding plans for some of the route changes: Route 3 – West End: Night service will run seven days a week to and from downtown to White Bridge Road and will no longer operate as a combination with Route 10 in the evenings;Route 9 – MetroCenter: Two morning trips have been added;Route 10 – Charlotte: Night service will run five days a week to and from downtown to White Bridge Road and will no longer operate as a combination with Route 3 in the evenings;Route 12 – Nolensville Road: Weeknight, Saturday night and Sunday service has been extended to Hickory Plaza;Route 18 – Airport/Elm Hill Pike: Weekday, Saturday and Sunday/Holiday hourly express service to and from the airport to downtown has been added;Route 22 – Bordeaux: King’s Lane and Young’s Lane service frequency has been combined; Service will now run every 30 minutes on Saturdays;Route 34X – Opry Mills Express: Service now runs every 45 minutes on Saturdays and Sundays/Holidays.
