HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. -- A Sumner County bus driver has been suspended for three days after a child was left behind on a bus.A 7-year-old had fallen asleep and was left on the bus for 20 to 30 minutes. Officials said the driver didn't perform a routine bus check that she is supposed to do every day.Since the bus engine was left running, the Jack Anderson Elementary School student was tested for carbon monoxide poisoning.
As of Wednesday morning, those results were unclear.
