WINCHESTER, TN (WSMV) -

A Franklin County brother and sister have been charged with setting a vehicle on fire in May, according to a news release.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation joined Decherd Police and Fire officials in investigating a vehicle fire on Highway 64 on May 20.

A Decherd police officer noticed a vehicle pull over in front of what appeared to be a disabled SUV on the side of Highway 64 near Blue Springs Road. The officer discovered the SUV had been set on fire.

Officials identified Sandra and Steven Hoback as the people responsible for setting fire to the vehicle.

The Franklin County Grand Jury returned indictments charging Sandra Hoback, 58, and Steven Hoback, 44, with two counts of burning personal property. They were arrested on Thursday and bond was set at $7,500.
