CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The THP bomb squad team investigated a suspicious package at the 2200 block of Killington Drive in Clarksville.

Around 8 p.m. Tuesday, a man found an Amazon package in his driveway. He told police that when he picked it up, he heard ticking and strange noises. The man placed the package at the end of his driveway and called 911.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and investigated the package. According to police, the responders "could not definitively identify the contents" of the box.

The THP bomb squad was notified and responded to the scene. The team discovered the package contained a kit for building a dresser and had been mistakenly shipped to the wrong address.

The scene was cleared around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Residents on Killington Drive chose not to evacuate their homes.
