Former Davidson County Judge Casey Moreland has had his city pension revoked at a meeting of the Metro Nashville Benefit Board on Tuesday.

The Board considered the matter at a scheduled meeting on Tuesday.

Moreland pleaded guilty on five counts of attempting to bribe his former lover and embezzling money from the Davidson County Drug Court Foundation on May 23.

The former judge was arrested after a News4 I-Team investigation in 2017.

Moreland pled guilty as part of a deal with federal officials. At the time of the hearing, it wasn’t known what the deals entailed. It is expected he will be sentenced to less than four years in prison. Moreland will be sentenced in August.
