NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The court date has been pushed back for the man convicted of killing six children in a school bus crash in Chattanooga.

Johnthony Walker, 25, is charged with aggravated statutory rape. He was arrested Thursday night in Davidson County and was scheduled to appear in court in Nashville on Monday.

His court date has been continued to Thursday, June 21.

At the time of the alleged rape, Walker was out on bond appealing his conviction in the 2016 school bus crash.

According to an affidavit, the victim's parents called police after learning their 14-year-old daughter had been having sex with Walker while he had been staying at their home. Walker admitted to police that he had sex with the juvenile but said the relationship was "consensual."
