NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Today is a day to show your Nashville Pride. It’s 615 Day.

That’s Nashville’s area code and it’s celebrated on June 15, which is 6-15.

Lightning 100 and Project 615 are hosting a block party to celebrate all things Music City.

There’s live music, food and vendors at Richland Park.

All the performers and vendors are local.

“It’s all about 615 and everything Nashville,” said Gary Krane, Lightning 100 vice president of Programming and Operations. “We have got 50-plus vendors, we’ve got food trucks, non-profits selling all local-made products. We have a craft beer tent. It’s all local. Everything that’s here is local.”

The 615 Day block party is a free event. It continues until 9 p.m.

The proceeds of the event are going to a local organization, Musicians on Call.
