NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Two teens are in custody after allegedly shooting and killing a 16-year-old in north Nashville overnight.

The shooting happened on Westchester Drive, which is off Dickerson Pike, just after 9 p.m. Thursday.

Police say 18-year-old Oshae Stewart and 15-year-old Treyvon Palmer shot the teen from inside a car and drove off.

The victim, Laquan Link, was pronounced dead at TriStar Skyline Medical Center.

Stewart and Palmer are charged with criminal homicide.

Police said they are still trying to find the car Stewart and Palmer were in at the time of the shooting. Both refused to answer detectives' questions after surrendering separately at the Madison Precinct.

Stewart allegedly drove his 1996 maroon Infiniti sedan up to Link just before the shots were fired. Contact police if you know the whereabouts of the Infiniti.

Stewart is jailed in lieu of $125,000 bond. Palmer is being held in juvenile detention.
