A second person is now facing a murder charge in connection with a January 2017 murder in north Nashville.

Amanda A. Henson, 28, of Lebanon, TN, has been arrested after a grand jury indictment charging her with first-degree murder.

Kevin Lamont Williams, 32, was charged with first-degree murder and aggravated robbery in connection with the Jan. 18, 2017, incident.

Police said John Beers, 49, was shot during a confrontation with a gunman inside his home in the 3500 block of Chesapeake Drive.

Beers later died from his wounds at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

According to investigators, Williams shot Beers after going to his home to rob him.

Detectives allege Henson conspired with Williams.

Henson is being held in lieu of $100,000 bond. Williams remains jailed on $500,000 bond.
