NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A committee has postponed making the decision on whether Sgt. Rob Forrest will receive his pension.

During a meeting Tuesday morning, board members said they are still waiting on audit reports from the investigation into Forrest's affair with former mayor Megan Barry.

Forrest's pension is based on the year he made the most money, which just so happens to be one of the years he was having an affair with Barry. During that year, he made $80,000, so he's slated to receive $6,691 per month.

Forrest has already pleaded guilty to theft for the overtime he earned during the affair.

Forrest, who was the former mayor's head of security, has already paid his court-ordered restitution to Metro government.
