4 displaced after Nashville house fire

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Four people have been displaced after a house fire on Edwards Avenue.

Fire officials said the fire started at the back of the home.

All four people were inside when the fire started but escaped without serious injuries. No one was transported to the hospital.

The Red Cross is en route to assist the occupants.

Fire officials said three dogs were also rescued.

When firefighters arrived, the property owner was trying to fight the fire with a garden hose.

Investigators will determine the cause of the fire.
