A shots fired call lead to the discovery of drugs and guns inside a felon's south Nashville home.

Police responded to the apartments in the 200 block of Tampa Drive shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday.

When they arrived to the scene, Ivan Crump, a resident at the apartment complex, was reportedly not wearing any clothes and was bleeding from his elbow.
He told officers that he actually lived in the apartment above.

Authorities could reportedly see drugs, blood, weapons and paraphernalia in plain view. They then obtained a search warrant and looked through the apartment.

That’s when they found a felony amount of marijuana and crack cocaine. Some of the marijuana was stored in 32-ounce mason jars and large Hefty freezer bags.

Police say they also spotted drug paraphernalia throughout the home, including resale unused baggies, swisher sweet cigarillos, scales, a grinder, pipes with marijuana residue, and a cup with marijuana.

The search also led to the discovery of a handgun and an AK 47.

Crump was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, along with several other charges.
