ANTIOCH, TN (WSMV) -

A man was killed in a shooting outside of a hookah lounge in Antioch Friday morning.

It happened at 1:19 a.m. in the parking lot of the Arabian Palace Lounge on 1135 Bell Rd.

The victim, identified as 24-year-old Cesar Reza, was getting out of his car when he was shot at least once in the chest. Reza died at the scene, according to police.

Investigators said Reza pulled his car into the parking lot behind a man who was trying to back out of his parking space. Reza and the driver reportedly got into an argument, which is when the suspect shot into Reza's vehicle.

The suspect fled the parking lot in either a white or gray sedan, possibly a Chrysler 200, with tinted windows. He is described as a man in his mid-20s, who was wearing a white shirt and black pants.

Authorities said he was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun.

Police are working to find the suspect and a motive for the shooting.

Anyone with information about the gunman or the shooting is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward.
