NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The countdown is on for the 77th Iroquois Steeplechase at Percy Warner Park.

However, it's not just about the horses. Fashion is at the top of mind for many because of the spectacular hats that will line the track.

Christine Moore is the official milliner of Steeplechase. She's bringing her clever creations from New York to Gus Mayer in Green Hills.

From a more subtle look to some fantastical creations, the styles are everywhere this year.

With hand-painted accents, stitched ribbon and hats dyed to perfectly match outfits, race day attire is about making that perfect statement.

Moore's advice for picking out hats is to be bold and be yourself.

Moore will be at Gus Mayer in Green Hills through Friday. She'll even be selling some of her hats at Steeplechase on Saturday.
