25-year-old motorcyclist killed in Clarksville crash

CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A 25-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash that occurred in Clarksville Tuesday night.

It happened around 9 p.m. on 101st Airborne Division Parkway and Pea Ridge.

According to Clarksville police, the victim was traveling west on a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle when a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder going the opposite direction made a left turn toward Pea Ridge Road. 

The SUV then crossed into the path of the motorcycle, causing it to run into the passenger side of the vehicle and catch fire.

The motorcyclist, identified by police as Jesse Senger, died at the scene.

Police have identified 36-year-old Ivy Ivy, also known as Ivy Self, as the driver of the Nissan Pathfinder.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing. Charges have not been filed at this time.
