Crowd gathers for Predators watch party

Posted: Updated:

The Preds Party in the Park outdoor watch party for Game 5 on Saturday will take place at the Music City Walk of Fame Park across from Bridgestone Arena.

The party is free and open to the public. It started at 7 p.m. in advance of Game 5 between the Nashville Predators and Winnipeg Jets, which begins at 8:30 p.m.

The outdoor watch party includes two large screens, a DJ and food trucks.

Street closures associated with the Preds Party include Fifth Avenue from Demonbreun to Broadway from 3:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and the westbound lane on Demonbreun from Fourth Avenue to Fifth Avenue from 5 p.m. until midnight.

If a Game 7 is necessary, an outdoor viewing party will take place for the home game on Thursday, May 10.

Preds Party in the Park is hosted and produced by the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp in support of the Nashville Predators.

An outdoor watch party will also be held at Bluegrass Commons on Bonita Parkway on Saturday.

Several Hendersonville restaurants teamed together to host the event and hundreds are expected to attend.

The event is free and open to the public.
