Soda Farls from The Old School
450g. all-purpose flour
1 1/2tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. sea salt
300 ml buttermilk
Sift flour, baking soda, salt in a large bowl. Add buttermilk gradually to the middle, bringing dough together. Knead into a round shape for 2 minutes. Divide in two and knead both to form balls. Roll out and cut into quarters. Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Place the farls on the griddle until golden brown, 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook another 5-10 minutes.
