Another coach has turned down the University of Tennessee.
North Carolina State’s Dave Doeren turned down the job Thursday, opting to stay in Raleigh.
Doeren is 33-30 in five seasons with the Wolfpack. His team is 8-4 this season.
Since Tennessee offered the job to Greg Schiano before backing away on Sunday, at least three coaches have turned down the Vols.
As the search for the next head coach continues, some outlets are reporting that former Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin could be a possibility.
Sumlin was fired on Sunday. He is due $10.4 million from Texas A&M regardless of whether he takes another job.
