CHEATHAM COUNTY, TN -

An accused drug dealer has been arrested for an overdose death that occurred in Cheatham County over the weekend.

Christopher Stefko, 29, was charged with second degree murder, manufacturing/sale and delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a schedule II drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is accused of contributing to the death of 30-year-old Perry Chad Judkins of Chapmansboro.

Judkins collapsed at his home on Saturday, shortly after taking what was believed to be heroin. First responders attempted to revive him but were unable to do so.

Judkins was then taken to Tristar Ashland City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators later learned that Stefko traveled from Nashville to Judkin’s Cheatham County home and allegedly sold him heroin.

Cheatham undercover investigators then arranged a heroin deal, and Stefko reportedly showed up to complete the transaction.

He was arrested and taken to the Cheatham County Jail.

A passenger with Stefko, identified as Zachary Oden, was also detained. Authorities say he had heroin on him and had outstanding warrants in Nashville.
