Two people, including a 9-year-old boy, were killed in a three-vehicle crash in Robertson County Friday night.

It happened just before 5 p.m. on Highway 25 near Eastside Drive in Cross Plains.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 29-year-old Justin Webb, of Hendersonville, was traveling westbound when he crossed into the eastbound lanes.

Webb's Kia SFX then collided head on with another car, killing him and the child in his car.

The 75-year-old driver in the other vehicle was injured in the crash. A third driver, who hit one of the cars from behind, was not hurt.

The THP says everyone involved was wearing a seat belt.

No charges are expected in this case, but an investigation is ongoing.
