Nashville Rescue Mission seeks turkey donations for Thanksgiving meals

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The Nashville Rescue Mission is looking for 1,000 turkeys for Thanksgiving.

Rescue mission officials say they will serve more than 5,000 meals during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

They’re looking for more than just turkeys. The rescue mission also needs green beans, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce.

Donations can be dropped off at the Nashville Rescue Mission’s donation center at 616 7th Avenue South on Monday through Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
