LAWRENCEBURG, TN (WSMV) -

A large fire caused serious damage to a Lawrenceburg building and to a significant number of antiques inside.

The blaze happened Saturday morning at the Lawrenceburg Antique Auction building on North Military Avenue.

Police posted a video of flames and smoke pouring from the 8,000-square foot facility.

According to Lawrenceburg Fire Chief Jay Moore, two or three people were inside getting ready for an antique show scheduled for later in the day when the fire started.

They made it out safely and were not injured.

During the fire, there was a partial collapse of a wall and the roof, rendering the building a total loss.

The fire also caused officials to reroute Saturday's Veterans Day Parade.

The cause of the blaze is now under investigation.
