CLARKSVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The search continues for the suspect who shot and killed a man inside a Clarksville home earlier this month.

Four people were inside the home on Oaks Drive when two armed men entered through the back door around 10 p.m. on Nov. 7.

Multiple shots were fired, and the victim was hit in the torso.

The victim, 34-year-old Christopher Lane, died from his injuries the next day at University Medical Center.

Authorities said the armed men got away with some items from the home. Police have released a photo of one of the suspects.

Police said they do not believe the shooting was random and that the public is not in danger, but the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call 931-648-0656, ext. 5133, or the tipline at 931-645-8477.
