3 suspects arrested after 3 stabbed during fight in the Gulch

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Three suspects are in custody after three others were stabbed in the Gulch overnight.

Police said the argument started around 1 a.m. Wednesday among a group of homeless people that live in a building at 11th Avenue North and Grundy Street.

The argument escalated, then became physical and ended in three stabbings.

All three victims were taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. One of them is in critical condition, and the other two have serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police caught up with the suspects at 12th Avenue North and Broadway.

Officials are describing the three homeless suspects, one woman and two men, as “train jumpers.”

According to police, the investigation is still ongoing.
