NES: Customers must re-submit auto bill payment info

NES says an email to customers asking them to re-submit their automatic bill pay information is legitimate.

NES recently upgraded its online security system and cleared out all of the saved bank account information. As a result, customers will need to set up automatic payments again.

Customers much log in to their online profile and select “View/Pay Bill” to be redirected to the utility’s payment provider, Kubra. Under “Payment Options,” select “Manage Payment Accounts.” Customers will then need to add their banking information to their profile before they can make a scheduled payment.

The utility is asking for patience. Officials say so many people were on their website on Tuesday that it’s having issues.
