Suspects wanted in liquor store smash-and-grab robbery

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police say two men stole more than $2,000 worth of alcohol from a liquor store in a matter of minutes.

The smash-and-grab robbery happened at Grand Cru Fine Wine and Liquor on Murphy Road around 3:40 a.m. Friday.

Surveillance video shows the two men arrive in a 2000s model blue GMC Sonoma pickup truck. They smashed out the front window with a sledgehammer and stole several bottles of alcohol before driving away.

The suspects are described as a heavy-set man with a chin strap beard and a thinner man who was wearing a hat.
