Nashville kicks off week of red carpets with SESAC Awards

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Nashville is rolling out the red carpets this week with several star-studded awards shows on the agenda.

The week of awards shows continues with the 55th ASCAP Country Music Awards at the Ryman on Monday night.

Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Old Dominion and Kelsea Ballerini are all expected to attend.

Ballerini will be honored with the ASCAP Vanguard Award during the ceremony.

The BMI Awards will be on Tuesday, and on Wednesday, the CMA Awards will take over Bridgestone Arena.

TV show host Ellen DeGeneres is telling her Twitter followers to watch out for announcements on Monday if they are in Nashville and want to go to the CMA Awards.

On Sunday night, songwriters were honored at the SESAC Awards at the Country Music Hall of Fame.

"It Don't Hurt Like It Used To" won song of the year, and Justin Ebach took home the Songwriter of the Year award.

Kenny Rogers received the Legacy Award at the event.

Lady Antebellum was also honored with the Humanitarian of the Year award through their efforts with LadyAID.
