Suspect in fatal Spring Hill shooting added to TBI's 'Most Wanted' list

The TBI has just added the suspect wanted for shooting and killing a man in Spring Hill to its "Top 10 Most Wanted" list.

Police have issued a warrant for 34-year-old James Huddleston of Murfreesboro for criminal homicide.

The victim, 35-year-old Phillip Pero, was found dead in the garage of a home on Iroquois Drive just after 1:30 p.m. Sunday. He reportedly had one gunshot wound. The weapon, a .40-caliber Smith & Wesson firearm, was found nearby.

People who were inside the house during the shooting told police that they heard Huddleston talk about shooting Pero. They also said they saw Huddleston leaving the home after the shooting.

Huddleston may be traveling with a small child and his girlfriend, 22-year-old Victoria Phillips. He may be in a 1997 Red Cadillac Seville with a faded hood and aftermarket wheels.

Huddleston is described as a white man who is 5'11" and weighs approximately 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Members are the public are urged not to approach Huddleston because he is considered to be armed and dangerous.

Anyone who has information about his whereabouts is asked to call the TBI at 1-800-TBI-FIND. The TBI is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest.
