Woman killed in two-vehicle collision identified

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

The woman killed in a two-vehicle collision on June 10 has been identified.

Kimberly R. Hudgens, 23, was in the passenger seat of a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer around 1:00 a.m. when it was turning left onto Burning Tree Drive southbound from Old Hickory Boulevard.

According to police, it turned into the path of a 2006 Jeep Wrangler, which struck the side of the Trailblazer.

The Jeep overturned onto the Trailblazer’s roof, Hudgens died at the scene.

The driver of the Trailblazer, Ronald K. Meyers, 28, is at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical, yet stable condition.

He was tested for alcohol/drugs by the MNPD Crime Laboratory. Charges will be determined following the test.

The Jeep driver, Jacob Pryor, 23, was not injured.
