NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A status hearing was held Friday morning for two of the four former football players involved in the Vanderbilt rape case.

Brandon Banks and Jaborian McKenzie were both allegedly involved in the sexual assault of a female student in a dorm room in the summer of 2013.

Their two co-defendants, Brandon Vandenburg and Cory Batey, have already been tried and are serving prison time for their roles in the assault.

At a previous hearing, McKenzie testified that he did not touch the woman. He also admitted that he made a pact with the three other men to lie and cover up the assault.

Both Banks and McKenzie have previously pleaded not guilty to their charges.

Banks' trial is scheduled to begin on June 19.

It's not clear when the next hearing will be held for McKenzie. He waived his right to appear in court on Friday morning.
