NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Airport officials are issuing a warning for passengers this weekend because of the thousands of tourists heading into town for the CMA Music Festival and Bonnaroo.

A spokesperson for the Nashville International Airport said they are anticipating "record-breaking" numbers from Sunday through Tuesday.

On an average day, 18,000 passengers leave BNA. On Monday, the airport expects 24,000 departing passengers, which is an increase from last year.

Passengers are being urged to plan ahead for longer security screening lines and to arrive two hours before their scheduled flights.
