Teen dead, 2 seriously injured after weather-related crash in Crossville

According to Crossville officials, a traffic accident during Monday's heavy rain left a teen dead and two others with serious injuries.

Dade P. Brown, 18, of Crossville, was driving his down Peavine Road when he lost control of his 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse.

Unable to stop the car from swerving into oncoming traffic, Brown collided with a 2008 Toyota Tundra driven by Gary Storer, 68, of Fairfield Glade. 

Storer's wife, Barbara, was also in the car. 

Police say Brown was killed in the collision.

The Storers were both transported by ambulance to Cumberland Medical Center and then the University of Tennessee Trauma Center with very severe injuries.
