Suspect cleared in fatal South Nashville shooting

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

One of two suspects arrested in a fatal shooting in south Nashville last week has been cleared.

According to information provided by his family, police were able to determine 23-year-old Charles Fleming III was not involved in the murder of 32-year-old Carlos Moran in the Napier-Sudekum neighborhood.

Fleming and 22-year-old Lemonderius Goodner were arrested last Friday. Police said the case against Goodner has been bound over to the grand jury.

The shooting happened in the 900 block of First Avenue South. Moran died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on Thursday.
