Burglars steal purse, credit card from parked car at Springfield YMCA

SPRINGFIELD, TN (WSMV) -

Springfield police are looking for information on a car burglary from the YMCA parking lot.

The suspects were seen busting out the window of the victim’s car and stealing her purse around 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Surveillance video showed the suspects were driving a newer model silver Ford Edge. The vehicle has a handicap tag hanging from the rear view mirror and possibly has Kentucky tags.

The suspects used the victim’s credit card at Walgreen’s, Auto Zone and a Sudden Service gas pump.

Video showed the two suspects using the credit card were black males. One suspect was described as being 5-10, weighing 220 pounds with short hair with a light beard and goatee. He was wearing khaki pants and a black tank top. The second suspect is between 6-0 and 6-2 tall, has a bigger build wearing a white V-neck T-shirt with khaki shorts with long dreads and a small amount of facial hair.
