Perfect Oven Fries 2 Ways with When In Doubt Sauce
1 pound small Yukon Gold potatoes, sliced into 1-inch-thick wedges*
1 pound small sweet potatoes, sliced into 1-inch-thick wedges*
YUKON GOLD SEASONING:
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon dried oregano 1⁄2 teaspoon onion powder 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic powder
SWEET POTATO SEASONING:
1 teaspoon coconut oil 1 teaspoon sea salt
1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon 1⁄4 teaspoon paprika
Preheat oven to 400° F and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.
In one mixing bowl, combine Yukon potatoes and Yukon seasoning and toss to coat evenly. Repeat in a separate bowl for sweet potatoes and their seasoning.
Spread Yukon potatoes evenly onto one baking sheet, sweet potatoes on the other. Bake for 20 minutes, then remove from the oven and pull out the parchment paper. Flip potatoes and bake another 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown and crispy (time will depend on the size of your fries).
WHEN IN DOUBT SAUCE:
1⁄4 cup mayonnaise
(sub vegan mayonnaise)
1⁄4 cup ketchup
1⁄4 cup Dijon mustard
Whisk Ingredients together until smooth!
